Nobody Talks to the Moon Anymore
A downloadable game for Windows
Every few nights, Zo steps out onto her balcony to speak with the moon. She never expects an answer, she just wants to be heard.
This is a very short game (1-2hrs), about loneliness, depression and identity. An unfiltered and honest view through the eyes of Zo, where each day is concluded by speaking with the moon. Gain insight into her life, and the way she thinks, by interacting with the objects around her apartment.
Controls:
Move with WASD or the Arrow Keys.
Interact with E, F, Z, Space or Enter.
Access the options with O or Esc
Content Warning:
Themes of depression, death and suicide.
Authors Note:
This game is far from perfect. It might not even be fun. But I do truly believe that it's unique.
There are a few things I would like to fix up or change, but making this has been very emotionally exhausting. So it may be some time before I am able to do so.
Humble Request
While it is by no means necessary, if the game has resonated with you in some way, and you have the means to do so, please consider paying the suggested amount.
I don't want to appear as though I'm begging, but I'm currently going through some hard times, and I'd love to be able to pay my mom back for all the help she's given me. If anything is left over, I'd also like to expand the game a bit, maybe redo the apartment graphics and release it on Steam.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my page.
I hope you have a wonderful day.
